
After a couple weeks of telling myself I don't need to count calories -- that I can keep track of them in my head, I decided to buy myself a small journal to record my calories. I know there are calorie-counting websites out there, but for me, it's just easier to write stuff down as I eat it. That way, I don't have to log into my counter account later and try to remember everything I ate up to that point.
So yeah. I'm back to counting calories. I've been keeping track of my calories for 3 days now, and as suspected, I was amazed at how many calories were consumed with a small cheat meal here or a small unhealthy snack there. Those calories add up.
Here's to a productive, calorie-counting, weight-losing week.
